Friends Group update; FEB 10, 2021
For our first working bee in 2021, the four volunteers were greeted by a beautiful morning on The Mount. Our task was to prune growth that was encroaching on the walking trails, clear dangerous overhangs, and report any safety concerns. Team 1 consisting of Janeen and Ashley worked on the Sanatorium Lake area of the Eco-trail, and Team 2 consisting of Charles and Ken worked on the lower section of the Mt Towrong trail. It was a rewarding morning’s work, and it was very encouraging when trail users thanked us for our efforts. Want to help the Macedon Regional Park? Join the friends group!
