Top of the RangeAbout usTop of the Range was opened in May 2000. Built to replace the original tea rooms that were lost in the 1983 Ash Wednesday fires. With a maximum capacity of 110 people, Top of the Range is one of the largest cafes in the Macedon Ranges. We are open every day of the week for:
Owned, and operated for the last 11 years by local residents Luke, and Emily Chapman since 2011, Top of the Range has endeavoured to be an important part of the overall great experience of Macedon Regional Park. We have always tried to operate the business as one that can attract visitors to the park, and the mount. With the aim of having all visitors leave with a great experience of our amazing region. In 2019 we purchased an off-grid farm (Top of the Range: Scranton Park) to expand what we do, and to start growing our own produce. We intend to create a closed-circuit on much of the fresh produce we use in the cafe by controlling the entire process from growing to serving it up on a plate. |
