Wildlife in the park
Wombats, wallabies, echidnas, kangaroos, kookaburras, and the odd koala now and then
Mount Macedon is home to some cute animals!

Rich in native animals, the Macedon Regional Park is known to have many wombats, echidnas, wallabies and kangaroos running around.

Quite often while touring the park, you will see Kookaburras sitting on branches and road signs.

While visiting the park, it is important to remember that this is home to many wild native animals, and treating the park with respect by taking home any rubbish you make; you are doing your part to keep the park clean and healthy for these animals and other visitors.
