Giving back. Where, and when we can
Top of the Range; Community involvement

As a vital part of the Macedon Regional Park, we are very much focused on visitor experience in the park. But we also are committed to contributing to our community where possbile.

Some of our community involvement includes;

  • Raising of funds to the Memorial Cross via the sales of the book written about the cross
  • We have donated websites to local community groups, allowing them to save money on their ongoing website costs
  • In previous years, we've donated $500 to the ANZAC Dawn Service
  • We regularly donate trees to our park via our park fund.... to date this has resulted in more than $500 of trees being planted
Planned burning on Mount Macedon

Our location in the Macedon Regional Park makes us an important stakeholder on Mount Macedon when it comes to planned burns and emergencies. Take a look at the video below of our boss (Luke Chapman) talking to DELWP about how they engage communities in planned burns.
